They are often mistaken as Owls, they are similar looking but not the same. Differences between the Owl & Tawny Frogmouth: Tawny Frogmouths have weak feet, Owls have strong, tough & flexible feet. Tawny Frogmouths have eyes on the side of their face, Owls have them on the front of their face.  You are approaching a time of unison with the light and dark aspects of your nature, while it can be confronting at times to understand this part, with courage and carefulness it can be done. Doing this takes up a lot of time and energy and is not something for the faint at heart. Are you understanding the darker aspects of your nature, do they become camouflaged at times during the day and come out at night, or maybe it comes around like a feeling of being afraid or sacred as a way for us to recognise this part.Recognising these parts within ourself can help bring about more of a nurturing energy which is vital to establishing groups, relationships, home life and brings us a greater sense of purpose and peace from deep within. Enabling us to be more brave and fearless in our actions towards others and towards our hopes and dreams.Tawny Frogmouths mate for life, so when we can find that balance between the 2 the unison can be magical, without darkness there cannot be stars in the night sky. 'Crocodile Swamp with Dragonfly' ~  INNER POWER 😝Yes I'm from Wiradjuri Country and unfortunately we don't have any Crocodiles in our area, but I paint them because in 2005 I travelled for 5 years around Australia and was lucky to see many different animals that I wouldn't normally see in my own country. (Something most people do when they retire) And because Crocodiles are actually in the Kooma area which is where my mob is originally from.So when the memories come back up then I know its the perfect timing for them to come out. The Dragonfly often enough inhabits open bodies of water."Crocodile Swamp" is about collecting parts of your inner power in order to break through an old pattern. It may mean that you will be venturing into these unknown places and territories you haven't been to before but trust in your own guidance and this process that you are currently in. You are in the midst of a major change that will allow you to break-free from a restriction that has been over-shadowing your life. That is why the sky is turning red because you are completely in your element, through your inner power and connection to nature, you are honoring your soul. No one can hurt or control you here, so stand strong in your inner power.Crocodile assists with transformation, action, change, growth and honoring your power. When moving forward we need to make room for something new, this allows a letting go to take place but this is not always an easy thing to do. Because we think that this is all that we have left of a person or place which moved us inside, but little do we know that it is this learning that enables us to carry our evolution forward to the next opportunity.
If we can remember to keep re-building from our past mistakes and nurture this process with patience we can build something new which is far more compatible with our beliefs.

Beaver is about moving towards this stability which is rooted in the feminine energy contained within the elements of water and earth, combined with sun, moon and stars. Ultimately this energy is universal, a feeling which makes us bare our soul, makes us vulnerable to feelings and elements  which have often caused us to feel hurt or even betrayed. But in doing this we can feel safe in nature, our soul is reflected in the light coming from the moon when we gaze the water edge.

Delve into the future by taking some time to understand these feelings within you, so that the letting go can occur and fill them with the power of Beaver to help you fill this void, like the movement of a current which empties and then fills back up…allow yourself to be present during this cycle/change of life.
