Dreaming is best described as the beliefs, religion or law of Aboriginal people within Australia. It is also the time where the Ancestor Beings created all the river ways, mountains and streams within Australia in the very beginning of time, often depicted in Aboriginal Dreamtime stories. These stories often describe the ways and laws of the land for the people that belong to a particular area which is called tribe within the map of Aboriginal Australia, this allowed them to understand boundaries between men and women & the various stages of life. The area Mirree was born in is called: Wiradjuri Tribe, NSW Australia. Before the beginning of human life, the Dreaming ancestors traveled all around the countryside creating all natural things such as landforms, places, rivers, plants and people. They also created the rituals, designs, songs and ceremonies that are part of Aboriginal culture today, they are believed to exist simultaneously in the past, present and future. The Dreamtime for Mirree is a place where she goes to contemplate life, putting together all lessons of life, into visual perspectives to create teachings for future generations to come. Life can be complex and like a huge jigsaw, these teachings/stories will offer guidance, clarity and a sense of awakening & understanding of life, the stories that Mirree will share with others.Mirrees gift is her visual creations through her paintings and teachings of the Dreamtime, she wishes to share this gift with you all. They are often mistaken as Owls, they are similar looking but not the same.Differences between the Owl & Tawny Frogmouth: Tawny Frogmouths have weak feet, Owls have strong, tough & flexible feet. Tawny Frogmouths have eyes on the side of their face, Owls have them on the front of their face.    SPIRITUAL STORYThis is part of the "Art of Sensitivity Series", if you have the Art of Sensitivity Cat, NightJar, Owls or Koalas then this one makes up part of the same Collection, containing the Eucalyptus tree. The "The Art of Sensitivity" Series allows us to get a glimpse into realisations of sensitivity, during these times we need to tune-in to ourselves on a much deeper level. This enables us to understand ourselves from a higher perspective and to stop in the moment to listen, because in doing this we are able to receive a special gift from from our soul that is telling us, so don't miss out this opportunity to listen. Trees hold high significance in Aboriginal culture which can display special connections that relate to ceremony, initiations of development and so much more...Sometimes when chaos is all around us in life we need to stop for a minute to remember the light that is held within us. This same light shines upon all those dark aspects of the soul, which shows us all the brightest and most glorious shades of colour. We must sit still and ever so quietly, especially when we can see or feel this chaos and try to remember not to be shaken or moved by the chaos but instead try to understand it more and what it is telling us in that moment of time. When we can do this our balance returns and will remain. Our leaves may rustle from the strong wind current outside, but your stillness brings back the balance from the chaos that can sometimes reign in life's challenges. Going back to the beginning again means that your able to completely heal the inner child and isn't that something to be thankful for if not anything else. HOW CAN WE BEGIN TO HEAL THE INNER CHILD Healing the Inner Child can be the most important thing that we can do in our life, especially if we do not remember our childhood. We may feel that there is missing parts in our life that we want to discover so we feel whole again or maybe we feel stuck, like we cannot move forward in our life no matter how hard we try and even though we may want to believe that everything is fine, in actual fact it could be some kind of underlying fear that is causing us to feel this insecurity in our lives. Its not the end of the world, even though at times it does feel like it, if we use the power of our mind we can begin to understand it more and rise above it. Because ultimately fear doesn't control us, we can control it. And sometimes just having the understanding about it can allow us to know our own weakness and this in turn gets turned around as being a strength to then assist others to learn from and overcome.I hope this gives you something back that is needed inside for whatever reason because deep down we all long to feel safe, happy & whole again through acknowledgement, encouragement and support from those who love us unconditionally on our journey. And in the end the main thing is to have fun so we can also bring some of that balance back into our work and day to day lives...then we can overcome our fear which in turn allows us to learn to relax more. This Artwork assists in the recognition and healing of the Inner Child from deep within.
