They are often mistaken as Owls, they are similar looking but not the same. Differences between the Owl & Tawny Frogmouth: Tawny Frogmouths have weak feet, Owls have strong, tough & flexible feet. Tawny Frogmouths have eyes on the side of their face, Owls have them on the front of their face.  You are approaching a time of unison with the light and dark aspects of your nature, while it can be confronting at times to understand this part, with courage and carefulness it can be done. Doing this takes up a lot of time and energy and is not something for the faint at heart.
