East meets West Artworks
This style is developing all the time and is usually very colorful and symbolic. In essence it is a fusion of the spiritual practices of the East with the ancient cultural influences of the West.
I meditate on a daily basis and learnt a number of years ago about the Meditation practices of the Brahma Kumaris. The Brahma Kumaris originated in India and aims to teach people from all backgrounds universal principles and spiritual practices to promote inner peace, balance and silence through meditation.
The circle is a symbol of unity and completion and is used for open-eye meditation; gently gaze upon the central point in order to find your centre, inner peace and balance.
The flower of life was added to the circle of unity to create a more completed and sacred geometrical structure that gives meaning to life, creating energy, healing and connectedness to all life. The flower of life is a sacred structure in the shape of a 6 pedaled flower and is believed to be the fundamental pattern of all life. These basic patterns of existence are perceived to be sacred geometry forming the laws of the universe and various stages of creation.
