Medium: Acrylic on CanvasSizes Available: 15cm x 15cm x 3.5cm $259 The latest artwork depicting the "Swift Parrot Dreaming" truly captures the essence of these colorful and critically endangered birds. It's my initial attempt at painting them, and it's disheartening to learn about their declining population due to deforestation and lack of government protection. These vibrant creatures are in urgent need of our assistance now more than ever.  Through art, I aim to shed light on their struggles and inspire others to take action in preserving their natural habitat. Did you know that swift parrots heavily rely on mature forests for nesting and finding food? With ongoing logging activities destroying their homes, their existence is under threat. It's concerning to think that these stunning birds might vanish if we don't act promptly. The new painting will soon be available in the online store, but in the meantime, you can explore the turtle artwork from last week.  Each purchase contributes towards conservation efforts, making a significant impact on these vulnerable species. I am committed to using my art to raise awareness and funds for wildlife conservation. Your support is incredibly important to me, and together, we can create a positive change for the environment. Thank you for accompanying me on this crucial journey to safeguard and appreciate the beauty of nature. Let's collaborate to ensure a brighter future for all living beings.   Postage to QLD, NSW, VIC, WA, ACT, TAS in Australia = $10Worldwide postage is available = $29Story coming soon...At Art by Mirree, we are committed to bringing happiness through art. When moving forward we need to make room for something new, this allows a letting go to take place but this is not always an easy thing to do. Because we think that this is all that we have left of a person or place which moved us inside, but little do we know that it is this learning that enables us to carry our evolution forward to the next opportunity.
If we can remember to keep re-building from our past mistakes and nurture this process with patience we can build something new which is far more compatible with our beliefs.

Beaver is about moving towards this stability which is rooted in the feminine energy contained within the elements of water and earth, combined with sun, moon and stars. Ultimately this energy is universal, a feeling which makes us bare our soul, makes us vulnerable to feelings and elements  which have often caused us to feel hurt or even betrayed. But in doing this we can feel safe in nature, our soul is reflected in the light coming from the moon when we gaze the water edge.

Delve into the future by taking some time to understand these feelings within you, so that the letting go can occur and fill them with the power of Beaver to help you fill this void, like the movement of a current which empties and then fills back up…allow yourself to be present during this cycle/change of life. Your PRINT will include the INNER MESSAGE & STORY BEHIND THE PAINTING: “Dingo Claws” ~ The Beginning/Ending of a Spiritual Cycle I created a series of the Dingo about 22 years ago, just before I received my totem of the Dingo, the series was created from Large Oil Paintings and Lino Prints. 'Mirree' in my Aboriginal language means Dingo/Dog. So this was the 1st that was created in the Lino Prints of the Series of about 4-6 different body parts of the Dingo. I wanted to create the inner feeling of the Dingo, the acute instincts that they have, I wanted to become one with the Dingo & so from that yearning I created this series. I then felt from that yearning that it initiated something that was to be the beginning of something I had no idea how big it was to become within my world of feelings. Now it has become part of me, guiding me every step of the way. But what does it mean to me?For you it is here as a guide and to let you know that something really big is about to end or start in your life that will be of immense importance to your future, so take note. “My paintings come from a feeling inside that I can see. I slowing break it down into color and form through preliminary sketches, with this the rhythm also comes. But always the visions are my feelings.
