    There will always be a time in our lives were we can go back to in order to remember the simple and most pleasurable things in our lives. These simple things could be when we were a child, when we would experience the world so innocently and so pure.
    Experiencing this is like a state of mind we want to get back to or have been trying to reach for sometime now. And why would we want to do this? Well because it was a time for us where there were no restrictions or conditions placed upon us. This is what nature teaches us to remember again, teaching us to harmonise our life, balancing out the pain we experienced when we began to grow into an adult.
    When we can understand our pain more, we become closer to reaching this state of mind again, simply because the pain is no longer controlling our lives and we become free from its restrictions, I certainly think this is worth striving for, don't you?     Flowers

    Flowers give us hope and give us something to hang onto. When I was a little girl I went through a lot of horrendous experiences and then a miracle accoured which was carried on a message of a flower which I saw come back to life after being dead right in front of my very eyes.
    It was a magical experience and one I almost forgot until I got older and began to remember again. So, flowers can be highly beneficial to the healing process or journey you may be going through at the time. We can forget so many memories and experiences from when we were young because of our day-to-day busy lives that symbolic and colourful paintings with sacred messages and symbols from nature can awaken us to, reminding and connecting us to the purity of our soul and the guidance that comes from within, just dying to come out.

    Coolamon

    Coolamon is a traditional wooden vessel which has been carved from a tree and used to hold babies, collect berries and bush medicine or used in ceremonies.
    Often the different markings or symbols represented who the Coolamon belonged to.

    Clap Sticks

    Clap Sticks are a traditional instrument used to make rhythm played by women and men during songs and ceremony. The symbols on the Clap Sticks held special meaning.

    What is the Dreamtime? and what does it mean to you?
    The Dreamtime exists beyond time, space & sometimes our understanding; the idea about the Dreaming is multifaceted. Dreaming is best described as the beliefs, religion or law of Aboriginal people within Australia.
    It is also the time where the Ancestor Beings created all the river ways, mountains and streams within Australia in the very beginning of time, often depicted in Aboriginal Dreamtime stories. These stories often describe the ways and laws of the land for the people that belong to a particular area which is called tribe within the map of Aboriginal Australia, this allowed them to understand boundaries between men and women & the various stages of life.

    The area Mirree was born in is called: Wiradjuri Tribe, NSW Australia.
    Before the beginning of human life, the Dreaming ancestors traveled all around the countryside creating all natural things such as landforms, places, rivers, plants and people. They also created the rituals, designs, songs and ceremonies that are part of Aboriginal culture today, they are believed to exist simultaneously in the past, present and future.

    The Dreamtime for Mirree is a place where she goes to contemplate life, putting together all lessons of life, into visual perspectives to create teachings for future generations to come. Life can be complex and like a huge jigsaw, these teachings/stories will offer guidance, clarity and a sense of awakening & understanding of life, the stories that Mirree will share with others.
    Mirrees gift is her visual creations through her paintings and teachings of the Dreamtime, she wishes to share this gift with you all.

    Australian Wombat and Baby - Healing Project

    Wombats are mainly active during dawn and dusk. Their main defence is in their burrow and rear hide as it can capture any predators in their burrow with its powerful back legs and rear hide. Wombats have rodent like teeth to crunch down on plant materials such as grass, dirt & roots. 
    With a very slow metabolism they can take up to 14 days to digest their food and obtain most of their moisture from these raw plant materials.
    Wombats can reach up to 40km per hour which is faster than the fastest human.


    A new project is coming for you which will allow you to concentrate on the medicinal and healing properties of plants in order to heal and bring your inner self back into balance. Try to find an outlet which is enable you to do this more or begin a process which will allow for this to come in more through a daily routine or ritual.
    Add more greens to your existing diet or use leaves, herbs, plants and flowers to enhance your overall wellbeing.
    Enable yourself to slow down and get in connection to the ground beneath your feet, explore the possibilities within nature in order to accelerate or take your healing to the next level.

    HOW CAN WE BEGIN TO HEAL THE INNER CHILD 
    Healing the Inner Child can be the most important thing that we can do in our life, especially if we do not remember our childhood. We may feel that there is missing parts in our life that we want to discover so we feel whole again or maybe we feel stuck, like we cannot move forward in our life no matter how hard we try and even though we may want to believe that everything is fine, in actual fact it could be some kind of underlying fear that is causing us to feel this insecurity in our lives.
    Its not the end of the world, even though at times it does feel like it, if we use the power of our mind we can begin to understand it more and rise above it. Because ultimately fear doesn't control us, we can control it. And sometimes just having the understanding about it can allow us to know our own weakness and this in turn gets turned around as being a strength to then assist others to learn from and overcome.
    I hope this gives you something back that is needed inside for whatever reason because deep down we all long to feel safe, happy & whole again through acknowledgement, encouragement and support from those who love us unconditionally on our journey.
    And in the end the main thing is to have fun so we can also bring some of that balance back into our work and day to day lives...then we can overcome our fear which in turn allows us to learn to relax more.

      'Purple Copperwing Butterfly with Blackthorn Blossoming Flower'

      "Purple Copperwing" or another name which is the "Bathurst Copperwing Butterfly" is a very rare and beautiful butterfly that exists in very specific conditions, surviving above sea level attitudes of 900m and above.
      These Butterflies are an Endangered Species and are under threat. They belong to the Bathurst & Lithgow regions of the Central west of NSW.

      It feeds off its natural food source of Blackthorn and is mainly active during the months from August to November and seen during the full light of the day from the sun.

      Butterfly always reminds us of the delicate nature of life and how at any given moment we can be going through life's ups or downs. In order to bring something that contains the purity of nature alive, it 1st must be nurtured. The light of the sun comes up in the morning and goes down in the evening, but when the light shines upon us and all the conditions are right, you will know when to step outside again. Like the "Purple Copperwing Butterfly" the conditions to survive and further expand have to be perfect and when they are, your energy will shine brighter than before. You are currently getting ready to break free from the cocoon stage and when you do you will feel more elevated & alive than before, you are beginning to understand the changes the true essence of your spirit brings into other people lives.       The Dingo is my Totem and was given to me by an elder of my great great grandmother's tribe.
      Dingo Dreamings are linked to the star Constellation Baiame (Orion) which always question us on the different stages we are at on our spiritual journey, via the psychical pathways in our everyday life.
      You are making spiritual progress on the path of your dreams & wishes which connects to the deepest and most purest part of your soul, intersecting your purpose in life.

      Its getting dark now and the sun has completely disappeared from view expect for a warm pinkish glow that you can see coming from between those trees.
      You are standing at the crossroads of your life. I will decide which road I will take and choose the one which is best for me, without the notions of peoples viewpoints to stand in my way. I will continue on my journey in hope to be happy, wild and so free.
      When you can recognise the light and dark side of your soul, does the light of your soul always win? Within the midnight blue I feel protected, where everything will illuminate to light my way forward, to survive another day, so that I can win.
      The darkness can make the light turn blue, but it will never take the brightest light of my survival to fight and be true.
      Here I stand at the crossroads of my life within this midnight blue.

      Willie Wagtail ~ Rising from the Ashes 

      The Willie Wagtail story was given to me by Aboriginal Artist Wayne Krause back in 2003 when I was at a Cultural camp in exchange for one of my paintings.
      It was told that the Willie Wagtail received it’s markings because he got burnt from the fire, having risen from the ashes.

      This is the Universal story I want to share, which is about the dying to everything that ever was in your life up until this point. You are on the threshold of a major life change which will reveal a new way of life to you. You need to surrender to what was in order to allow yourself a smooth transition. You are surrendering yourself now to the fire and the ash of the old ways, and letting it burn because you will soon we born from this smoke. The heart from the most pure spirit is born and will contain the elements from earth, living and breathing the breath of life, one with the heart beat of mother earth. This is the message of the Willie Wagtail. If you see the Willie Wagtail front on: a surprise is in store for you, if you see it with it’s back to you: stay away it is trying to tell you something important, so listen.

        There is only about 19,000 White Rhinos left in the wild and they are the most abundant and largest living of the Rhinos which mainly reside in South Africa. Although white Rhinos can also be seen in many Wildlife Zoos across Australia. Their main food source is Savannah grasslands which is why they have such a large mouth to feed and they are the most social of creatures. Their large horns are part of marking their territory. White Rhinos have no living predators because of their size and Rhino Calfs have no worries either because of their protective Mother and tough skin.
White Rhinos live up to 50 years old and when the Rhino Calf is born it can weight up to 65kg.

         Growing up on the outskirts of Dubbo in the central West of NSW, interacting with International Animals such as Rhino, Girraffe, Monkey, Hippo, etc was a norm for me, living so close to the Western Plains Zoo. Dad use to take us out to the zoo on a regular basis, so for me unlike other Aboriginal Artists painting the International Animals is just as normal as painting the native ones

        Flowers

        Flowers give us hope and give us something to hang onto. When I was a little girl I went through a lot of horrendous experiences and then a miracle accoured which was carried on a message of a flower which I saw come back to life after being dead right in front of my very eyes.
        It was a magical experience and one I almost forgot until I got older and began to remember again. So, flowers can be highly beneficial to the healing process or journey you may be going through at the time. We can forget so many memories and experiences from when we were young because of our day-to-day busy lives that symbolic and colourful paintings with sacred messages and symbols from nature can awaken us to, reminding and connecting us to the purity of our soul and the guidance that comes from within, just dying to come out.

        'Tawny Frogmouth in Tree' ~ Unison

        Pair of Tawny Frogmouths sitting in a Tree.

        Trees holds special and sacred significance to the area I'm from in Wiradjuri country in relation to culture, which marked sacred sites, were used for shelter and cover from the elements, everyday tools and also for a means to communicate and more.

        The earliest fossil evidence of Tawny Frogmouths are from the Tertiary Period from 56-33.9 Million Years ago.
        Although related to the Owl, the Tawny Frogmouth is not an Owl but more closely related to Nightjars. They are often mistaken as Owls, they are similar looking but not the same.
        Differences between the Owl & Tawny Frogmouth:

        • Tawny Frogmouths have weak feet, Owls have strong, tough & flexible feet.
        • Tawny Frogmouths have eyes on the side of their face, Owls have them on the front of their face. 

        You are approaching a time of unison with the light and dark aspects of your nature, while it can be confronting at times to understand this part, with courage and carefulness it can be done. Doing this takes up a lot of time and energy and is not something for the faint at heart. Are you understanding the darker aspects of your nature, do they become camouflaged at times during the day and come out at night, or maybe it comes around like a feeling of being afraid or sacred as a way for us to recognise this part.
        Recognising these parts within ourself can help bring about more of a nurturing energy which is vital to establishing groups, relationships, home life and brings us a greater sense of purpose and peace from deep within. Enabling us to be more brave and fearless in our actions towards others and towards our hopes and dreams.

        Tawny Frogmouths mate for life, so when we can find that balance between the 2 the unison can be magical, without darkness there cannot be stars in the night sky.

        Dragonfly ~ Sister Dreaming ~ Circle of Women ~ Healing ~ Transformation

        We all have friends, sisters or women in our families that we connect to. This is the story of the dreaming of the women (represented by the horseshoe shapes in the center), in ceremony by the campfire as indicated by the circle in the middle. The love and pure beliefs are what joins them together in this place. It is a sacred place and although physically it may never be like this, it is a healing painting because the dreaming holds this sacred ceremony in place.
        The Dragonflies circle the ceremony from above letting us know it is in a cycle of death & transformation.

        The Dreamcatcher

        The Dreamcatcher has been a traditional symbol of the Native Americans and is based on wisdom of the spirit world. The hole in the centre is where all the good spirits can pass through, the bad ones get captured and trapped in the web to disappear on mornings 1st light.
        The good dreams get filtered down through the hole, trickling down to the feathers to ensure they reach the owners dreams.

        Flowers give us hope and give us something to hang onto. When I was a little girl I went through a lot of horrendous experiences and then a miracle accoured which was carried on a message of a flower which I saw come back to life after being dead right in front of my very eyes.
        It was a magical experience and one I almost forgot until I got older and began to remember again. So, flowers can be highly beneficial to the healing process or journey you may be going through at the time. We can forget so many memories and experiences from when we were young because of our day-to-day busy lives that symbolic and colourful paintings with sacred messages and symbols from nature can awaken us to, reminding and connecting us to the purity of our soul and the guidance that comes from within, just dying to come out.

        Butterfly
